best season

This winter trail takes you through the fantastic winter landscape of the Lombachalp.

The winter trail starts from the Lägerstutz car park. The well-groomed winter trail leads you approx. 1.5 km through the unique landscape of the Lombachalp and offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and the snow-covered countryside. You can take a break along the way on the bench by the alpine hut and warm up in the sunshine. The trail ends in a small loop and leads back to the starting point via the same path. After your walk, why not enjoy a culinary treat in the Jägerstübli restaurant?

Getting there

Drive from Lucerne over the Brünig Pass or from Bern along the autobahn and motorway via Thun-Spiez to Interlaken. Once you have passed Unterseen, you will reach the Habkern/Beatenberg junction, where you should turn right towards Habkern.

Parking at Schwendi/Tschieme is paid (coin-operated parking meter!) In winter, four-wheel-drive vehicles or the use of snow chains are recommended.
